yeah properly making AND sealing the window was the hardest part.
Making the hatch is easy and cheap-the mold was the expensive part.
Dont fall for these fancy names....most of these operations are just 2 or 3 guys and they sub all the labor out to larger composites outfits in the OC/LA area and then just hike the price to match what VIS or other large names are charging. Unless you have someone to oversee the quality, i would be very careful.
As far as the hatch itself, it costs them less than $200 to make one, so dont fall for their crap.
Personally, I wouldnt put glass on the composite/fiberglass hatch... enter at your own risk...
