I would have at least opened them in a padded room on a carpet...geesh. I swear I would install them with the f-en shrink wrap on them.

They are now on ebay for a buyout of 1250$

Brand New White T-Tops (t tops) for a Nissan NX 1991-93 from a Time Capsule | eBay

I offered him 800 but the wife didnt like that idea, so i dropped my offer to 600 which I think is fair.

Seller claims NX owner was "very meticulous." Judging from the condition of the NX in the video, sounds like he was more of a hoarder who hung on to a box of T-tops for 20 years.

The interesting thing will be to see if he gets any bids starting at $850. Even given the rarity, it's hard to justify these at the price of an engine.

Yes. Salt and sun do alot of bad stuff to the rubbers. That and people dont seem to understand that you have to keep the top seals lubed also. That and people also dont really store them properly.

Mine styaed out of my NX and put to the side in the garage 75% of the time cause I had the luxery of pulling it into the garage instead of having to put them back on all the time to lock the car.

I guess living in a wet climate doesn't wear them out that much then. I'm from The Netherlands, and we don't have leaky t-tops very often...
