Thread: what kind of cars has ur nx been mistaken for??

So over the years of owning my nx's I've had them mistaken for other cars quite a few times.. Ranging from a mazda mx3 or geo storm.. To a honda crx?? And the most recent one.. Apparantly it looks like a ej civic? Lol.. Another weird thing I noticed is on my registration it actually doesn't have a model listed for my car.. It just said nissan coupe, and the tickets I've gotten in the past say nissan coupe lol.. So anyone else got any stories similar to this???

besides the MX3 and Geo, a track worker at CMP thought i was a mustang lol

Geo Storm, Isuzu Impulse, Toyota Paseo are the most common.

Geo Storm, Mazda MX-3, Integra also

I got a ticket in my NX2000 in NY state and the cop wrote "Toyota Echo" on it.

Anyways I had it mistaken for a chevy cavalier before... dang USDM rice

CRX is usually #1, then when I say its a Nissan I get 240SX (plain ignorance), is it a honduh? usually follows, Geo Storm once in stock trim...I stop talking and look away after 2 wrong guesses lol

Besides everyone calling it the wrong brands or make....I find it more funny when they don't even guess cause they just got no clue

Ah, that's right. Recently the locksmith who was working at my house thought it was a 240sx. He's actually a racer - guess it was a bit dark in the garage, so I can understand the mistake.
