I hate the golf swap

It was basically a drop in kit. Zero modifications had to be done. Hardest part was having the patients while they were in the oven.

How can people hate the golf swap?

I think it looks heaps better, and brings the NX up to 2010 standards!

Personally I think it looks thrown together, I prefer the OEM plus look of EDM adjustable headlamps.

Ok, seems like the rest of the US market is also into the OEM-look.
Here in europe, we focus more on styling and uniqueness, rather than performance

Bought a Makita 5-inch random orbital sander, to aid me with the bodywork

Pretty simple,actually...We each have our own taste.Nothing wrong with that.
I am sure not everyone likes what I do to my cars,and I am cool with that.
I prefer to have my car NOT look like a 2010...I am over 40 and like the classic OEM look with some minor personal touches on the inside ,outside,and performance upgrades.

That swap looks ok from the front view,probably the nicest style lights....but lets see all the gaps that nobody ever posts pics of.LOL
Its like these guys posting pics of one side of their car because the other side is wrecked...Haha
The ones I have seen up close in person do not impress me.Its just alot of work for the outcome,IMO.

Maybe I will change my mmind at the convention .I am sure there will be a couple there to check out.

Keep doing what you are doing,though.Dont get me wrong,I am not hating on your car...I love it overall.

I would like to try this someday,but I would try to do the housings black while it was apart...whatcha think?

I was thinking about painting the housing black but I had a bunch of other work to do on the car and got lazy. But the whole install was a peice of cake once you get the bumper off.
