Thread: What did you do to your NX today?

And yea I've been wondering how the headlights where made and with what; The driver's side was broken before I received them.




How'd you do the LEDs though, in the taillights? I tried my hand at it, wasn't coming out too pretty.haha

@Sentraga WOW you brought me back. hmmm that headlight might have been crack from my accident. I was hit on that corner. If you were wondering where those projectors came from, those are fog lights form a 2001 GTi. So if you need bulbs for your headlight just search for the fog light for that car.
The headlight lens i vacuum formed it myself. Theres a youtube video somewhere. Dude PM if you have any questions... I can show you how to make another headlight lens if you want to.

As far as the LED sequential taillights.....i STILL have it with the 240sx SE lip :-) even though i don't even have an NX anymore.
BTW can you take a closer pictures of the passenger side headlight?

Raised up the front a bit more, cleaned my wheels while they were off the car, alignment, and oil change...leaving Tuesday evening for the convention! WOOT!

If it can be done at home, then yes, I would love to know how you vacuum form that.
Neither the crack, not the clear silicone I put to seal it, affect light output or anything but it would be nice for it to be a crack free lens.

I was wondering where the projector came from.lol But the projector actually says H1 on the back.

As far as the bumper, no it's not from your car. This one was made by a forum member about a year ago.
To be honest though, I like the evil eyes your car had better. The angle of the "lids" is slightly different so it looks meaner.

If you ever want to get rid of those taillights PLEASE let me know. I'd buy them off you in a heart beat.
