I have bit my tongue for days now not going on a full blown Shawn B style Rant about how pathetic this community is when it comes to selling cars. Its like a flock of vultures waiting to pick a piece. This is for another thread at another time.

So far on my car i have just spotted surface rust on the hatch, some seam welds, and very little on the rear rockers in the inner fender like you see so common in this thread, but absolutely no where near that extent. As a midwestern NX all its life, I feel my car is very lucky.

you kind of act like we HAVE to buy it if its posted here. Everyone can say how nice a car is that dont mean i or anyone else has to buy it... i mean why even get upset if you already know how the cummunity is??

You misread my complaint. It doesnt matter how nice a car is, 99% of the time people just want a part for their own car instead of purchasing a car.

Stratton and I have both tried to sell our cars at different points in our "career" of owning them. I tried selling the car when no corrosion was even present on the car an the same thing happened. It's just the type of community it is.

Why I complain on this community, is it pisses a guy like me who would want the full car to go to someone who knows what it is, and will treat it as such. I have not put my car on craigslist, autotrader, etc. because I do not want to feel responsible for someone pushing the car to its limits and hurting themselves or others. People in this community generally know what they are getting into, and when thats the case, I feel its full responsibility on their part.

this community is filled with alot of cheap ass people. im not mad at them, cause i can be cheap at times also. but as far as selling cars goes, its very difficult on this forum. ive sold 3 se-rs with in this last year. one mint black one like it rolled off the show room floor. a local who ive met before came, and bought it that day. the other two were in ok shape and were bought a few days after i listed them, both sold to the first people who came to check it out.

im looking for another car, hoping to find another b13, b14 or p10 in the very near future. rust is not that much of a concern on a daily driver that will most likely get no real aft parts. just gas and drive...
