Thats why I always replace them in pairs per axle.. Great that you found it!!
I was starting to believe it was a tire or a rubbing brake pad..

I'll be stopping by tomorrow..

damn, i think i have the same problem. Jen did it sound alike a drummer was beating on the bottom of your car? like in the footwell area? I have that same type of noise coming from my passenger side. Its a rhymic thud thud thud. But I cant tell if mine is drive train or suspension related because it only does it when I turn to the left and the weight transfers to the passenger side.

that's what happens when you impact the axle nut instead of using a Torque stick.

yes that was the sound it made right were your feet would be at.my problem was i had people that really didnt know about cars in my passenger seat. and of course you cant be a passenger at the same time I would feel it on the driver side like crazy. My girlfriend would just not mind the noise because she was use to hearing all kind of noises.. but raff came by the shop yesterday and i told him to drive it. i sat as a passenger and holy crap i could feel it times ten!

Axle nuts are one thing you definitely want to torque correctly. Otherwise, the bearings, hubs, and/or axles might wear prematurely.
