Thread: T top question

On the t tops is the plastic piece where the sunshade locks has broke in the middle. Do I have to replace the whole t top now or can I replace that plastic piece?

Not much replacement parts out their for the nx t-top.Is it the back or front lock?

Lucky for you, I have two pairs of t-tops for sale here. Too bad you're not closer.

In all seriousness though, there probably isn't a whole lot you can do about it. I've never seen those kinds of replacement parts. Worse comes to worse, if the shade is bouncing and is annoying you could easily put a small piece of Velcro on it to hold it in place at least?

You can disassemble the t-top to replace that plastic piece bit you do need a donor t-top as there aren't really replacement parts available.

The plastic piece looks like it's just stuck on the glass.

I do believe that is the part you are looking for. That's pretty cheap too, I'd be surprised if they have it, but it'd be worth the shot!

They have them in stock but rape you on the shipping charge. 10$ to ship a little piece of plastic. I called my local Nissan here and gave them the part number. It's 8$ here special order have it in two days. Will let u know if it's the right part when I get it in case anyone in the future needs to order one.

Got this little part in today, I figured the back would have some adheasive on it. Since I have not pulled the old one off yet anyone know what they use to attach this thing to the window?
