Thread: Has anyone taken their door panel fabric off?

My door panel fabric is peeling back a bit. The vinyl underneath looks like it has the same texture as the rest of the door. Anyone taken the fabric off completely and removed the foam and adhesive gunk underneath? Does the panel look decent without fabric on it?

Yes and NO, it is not a pretty site under the foam. Just get some 3M Fabric adhesive and spray it on the back of the material if you want it to go back or get some 3M High Pressure contact Cement.

What's it like under the foam? Are there holes or is the vinyl messed up?

Thanks. I might try to pull the cloth off then use a hair dryer to try to strip the foam. I don't want any fabric on the panel.

e-models dont come with cloth at all

If you want to see for yourself them do it. Otherwise it is not a pretty sight.

Unfortunately there is no nx2000 "e" model,
But yeah I got a pair of doorpanels from a 2 door sentra "e" model for my classic.

I would try goofoff on the glue,see what happens.....dont try goo gone,goofoff works much better.Good luck with this ,I would like to see pics of the NX panels with no cloth.
