How are you going to clean the deteriorating egg from the rest of the cooling system? Sounds like a recipe for future problems. Pun intended.

Im gona change the water pump il bet most of the egg is in the erea where the leak was,When i first bought my B14 the rad was cracked i did the same thing and drove it home,I replaced it to a p10 rad in it the inspected the old one out of the car then i cut it to see if most was in the block or in the rad but i flushed it out it looked like i was making egg salad most of it came out whole (whites) the car ran fine till i sold it a few weeks ago the guy who bought it never had issues with it (He calls me every now again to ask SR20 questions) I told him to join the forum
