Thread: Removing the Hatch

Hey guys. Just a question for all of you. What steps do you take to remove the hatch?

I managed to unbolt mine, but I was not able to pull out the electrical harness that controls the rear wiper. (I want to replace it with a better hatch)



I"m thinking that maybe I have to remove the headliner as this might give me better access to the harness plug.

I was never able to find a harness plug...even under the headliner.
Not sure what the deal is there.
I ended up cuttin the wires and resplicing them.
Try PM ing someone who has a CF hatch installed...stratton,businessman24,etc

I was wondering the same thing....the wires to my wiper and 3rd brake light are cut just after they come out of the hatch...still got most of the interior apart trying to figure out where to get some slack =(

Loose the wiper and assembly.

Its useless and very heavy.

Cut it and forget it. Use one of the rubber plugs that are found under the back seats to fill the hole, fits perfectly and looks legit enough.
