And personally, I would not recommend buying used dampers/struts/shocks site unseen. Unless they are a well known member and have a fair idea of what constitutes blown vs not blown dampers, I would only buy a used setup I can physically see, compress, etc. The catch here though: Normally, the higher end (read: more expensive) dampers can take the abuse and normally mostly see track miles. Also, in those cases, those individuals selling them have a fairly good idea on what condition the damper is in so its a bit less risk buying used higher end dampers, than used cheaper lower end stuff!!
