Caliper question
So guys i have a question with what im going to argue against rock auto on. So as you know when ordering our pads for calipers, They have a usa spec and a japan built spec for the pads. Well i accidently got usa ones, which are the size for the nx1600 apparently. Well they are arguing with me, their catalog on rock auto said 2.0L nx, which is why i ordered. I didnt know it was going to be this much of a pain. They want me to pay to ship it back, and wont give back a refund for shipping it to me. So thats 20 bucks. I paid 20 bucks for the damn pads, so they are trying to fuck me over even though their catalog is wrong. So tell me this? IS THERE a nx2000 usa built calipre that takes these fucking lil pads that fit in a nx1600? Because if so then i guess their right, but if not then their catalog is wrong.

Which 100Nx did you select? I wouldn't order everything with them for the Nx, but I like their fridge magnets.

@ TS: If I'm right, there's 3 types of front calipers:

1: NX1600 (Or 100NX 1.6 and Sentra 1.6)
2: USDM NX2000 (Or Sentra SE-R)
3: EDM/JDM 100NX GTI

The last option has the AD22VF calipers. The 2nd one has the medium-sized calipers, and the first one has the smallest.

So the first question you need to ask yourself, what calipers do you have? Do you still have the original ones? Or did you swap them for the AD22VF's?

Indeed, you need to make ABSOLUTELY sure what parts you order from websites like RA (and many others, I've noticed), they sometimes list the wrong info, if they're not a dedicated Nissan shop (like G-Spec). For us Europeans, it means we need to make sure we get the JAP-spec parts. The USDM parts won't fit our cars (at least where the brakes are concerned).

According to my own info the SE-R up to 1993 and the USDM NX2000 have the same callipers as the EDM's.

There should be difference between the rear callipers between the NX1600 and such, and the EDM.

For the pads, I would try to use a website that asks for your licensplate number. Not that there is never something not correct or offering similar parts not belonging to your specific B13 so to say, but you should be able to check things out, the last thing to do is start measuring up things on your car.

Right, I was wrong. The front calipers of the USDM NXs are the same as the EDM ones, the rears, I think are not. Correct? Or is this only true fro the Sentra SE-R. I'm 100% positive that the SE-R has smaller brakes all around, when compared to the EDM NX...
