Thread: brake pads for an NX2K

what type of brake pads do you use on your NX2K? I bought some Axis and while they are great pads as far as braking they dust way too much. I just looked at them and they have like 15 thousand miles on them. I will be lucky to get another 15 thousand on them. I need something that is low dust and made out of great material. I guess I could just use OEM but always thought aftermarket was better.

What have you had luck with using and works the best?

I picked up Carbotech Bobcats. They stop great and they do not dust nearly as much as the Axxis that I used to run. ALSO, they are said to last upwards or 40-50k, so that helps justify the cost.

Heard good things about the Mintex C-Teck pads.

I'm rolling with the Axxis/PBR Ultimate for the front and back on my setup with the maxima rear calipers.

were can you get carbotechs? I do nto mind spending the money if they are worth it otherwise it will be just what ever Oreillys sells
