Thread: 91 & 92 nx owners.....abs mc question

Looking for nx owners with a 92 nx2k W/ABS & Wo abs.
Both my 91 & 92 nx2k has ABS but the master cyclinders are different.I can't see why they would be different.Looking for some pics of the non abs nx2k models.

The non ABS have less lines, is that what you mean? I can take some pics of my non abs in the morning for comparison.

Yes...Both my 91 & 92 have abs but the 92 MC is different....the 92 has less lines.Strange enough....

91 non ABS NX2000

It has 4 lines one going to each caliper.

That's weird, was it replaced somewhere down the line?

It sounds to me like someone converted it to NON ABS at some point.

Does it still have the ABS block with all the lines going into it?usually on the passangerside of the engine bay behind the strut tower....Lynchfourtwenty just deleted the ABS from his 91 ser...ask him =)

Looks like most hardtop nx's around my area are non abs.......
Still trying to get this up & running.Thanks for the pics btw.

I replaced the MC & bled the brakes several times.The pedal is still pretty soft.I have to pump the pedal twice to stop the car.I'll be changing out the brake booster soon.The whole abs system will be on the way out in a few months.I also have braided ss line installed on the car.
