if u REALLY wanted to rebuild that, put the axle in a vice and hammer the end off. then go to the junk yard, find an axle, hammer the end off. put the new end on your axle. get a boot kit, repack with grease...profit. haha. less expensive but definitely more hassle.

or just go to the junk yard and find yourself an axle. reboot/repack with grease. just make sure u grab it out of an SER or NX2000 so u get an LSD axle. and if urs has ABS, make sure it has an abs tone ring

True but would have to find an Se-r in a yard...not really gonna happen around here. Or even less likely a NX2k. Think I might have to go with the Beck from rock auto and see how it goes.

I've had no issues at all with my axles from Oreily's. They've held up to LOTS of drag strip launches as well.

Oh and Lothar I get mine from the Oreily's on the southside of town, by the Chrysler dealership. They should have one their in stock for you.

This is the one I use. One note though, last time I got one, it didn't have the little collar sleeve thing that slides up over the axle gasket in the transmission. I just popped the one off my axle and used it. I only changed the axle because that gasket was leaking lol.

Actually, why shouldn't you be able to remove the busted CV joint, and replace it?

I can get a really good quality set for about 100 dollars a side. They are brand new aftermarket and come with a 1 year warranty but I have about 3 years of use, including track use... 2 step etc with no issues.

Driveshaft shop is discontinued, and Raxles will still rebuild them if you send them OEM ones to rebuild.

I know Miko can rebuild them and normally sells a pair for 250 I think.
