16 inch wheels/tires
ive got some 16s ive been wanting to put on my nx, but i just always get confused with tire sizes. They are nothing special, i believe they are 7 inch wide adr battles, and im trying to make sure i have enough tire that i dont crack my wheels on richmonds CRAPPY streets. Not to mention i NEED as much tire as possible as my car is turbo. can anyone help me? For me pics would be best, but i need to know how wide i can go tire wise. and if a 45 series will work.

I'm thinking a 215 or 225 width should be good, and I'd probably run a 50 series... 45 is going to make the ride rough, especially if the streets are as bad as you say.

my opinion is that 50 is too much if you get 215 or 225, maybe 45.
My had 205/45 and was good enough for everything...

205 45 16 is good. It is not as thin sidewall as you may think. I highly suggest Nitto Neo Gen.

I agree with Pretty white on the size of 205/45/16 but I strongly Disagree on the "Nitto Neo Gen's"

in my opinion the Nitto's Neo Gen's are a waste of money

Would 215 45 16 work? Even if the tires are 7" wide? Also, Toyo Proxes T1-Rs are nice tires.

Larry, I've seen what you do to them on the track, but for a street tire, work well on the nx.....Btw, when you get time, give me yours and Jays phone#..... Mine took a dump and I had to get another phone.... Mike

Im going to go with 205/45/16, that way you'll have no clearance issues or rubbing.
