About removing the front bumper: You don't. The whole body is now 1 piece. (Well, maybe not the rear bumper). The exterior (and the work done to the interior) is the only thing what makes this car worthwile saving. In Europe; if you have driven a carburetted NX before, and you get a second NX, you don't get the carburetted one. You get one with a GA16DE or SR20DE.

If I were to buy it, it's gonna receive my current SR20DE when I'm done swapping in the VE in my black NX.

About the aftermarket support:

USDM NXs only have 2 engines; the GA16DE (which is different from the EDM GA16DE), and the SR20DE. There's almost as many SRs as there are GAs.

But in Europe, the NX came with 3 engines: The carburetted GA16DS, the EFI GA16DE and the SR20DE. But unlike the US, the GA16DS and GA16DE are MUCH more common than the SR.

In the US, you have companies like Mazworks, GSpec, CP, JE, JWT, etcetera. Companies who put money and effort in these cars. Companies that are local (or at least in the same country), which saves on shipping, importing etc.

We don't have that here. So everything must come from overseas. Which costs ALOT of money. And since these cars are seen as "underpowered"(because of the abundance of GA16DS' and GA16DE's (92 and 102 BHP respectively, and the fact that there's NOTHING for the DS (apart from a header), and a GA16DE (since it's different from the USDM spec GA, cams for example aren't available), not many people invest in the engine, other than a header or intake (even most exhausts are stock).

So, they invest in the exterior. Of which kits are widely available and local companies do the work of importing them (and have experience in that).

So yeah, we basically have the choice between throwing in some serious money to get some basic performance parts, or throw in the same amount of money for a full bodykit (for example, my CP pistons set me back $600 (or roughly €440). You can get a full bodykit for €350 or so. Or at least the common ones).

Just my opinion. It would be one thing if it ran and drove fine, but it needs a trans too. To me that car just has pretty much zero value unless you have a transmission around and you are bored..... and blind.

It has an intake, and a header :P. See pics. Transmission I can get for free. But like I said, if I were to buy it, it would get my old SR.

i had no idea performance parts where that hard to come by in Europe for the SR20. What about the GA16? are those also hard to find parts for?

What about suspension parts? I know you're going with Koni's on your current ride, but can you get sway bars?

I guess if the body kits are the norm, it looks like a decent car for the price, go for it!

Most GA related performance parts (especially cams) are made for the US spec GA16DE, which has the NVCS. Something the EDM GA16DE lacks. Only thing you can find are headers (but, they have to come from ebay, which still means importing stuff). So, the GA parts are even HARDER to come by (since there aren't any).

Swaybars can be order from a few shops, but mostly only the Whiteline rear swaybar, and a Sparco front strutbar can also be ordered.

That's about it.

Koni's are also available, but even though it used to be a Dutch company, parts have to be ordered, and shipped from the US.

So everything we CAN get, is expensive as hell, since the parts need to be shipped here.

For example; a new 8610-1409SPORT B15 (or N16) insert, costs € 184,45, or $252,88.

I would have to agree with everyone else the body kit has to go but it looks like they molded everything together which sucks. I would have to say even the car just being stock and slow would look better than it does right now and for only 775 I would just put everything back to stock and fix the tranny. I would prefer slow and looking nice just my opinion

Lol, hell no. Only this retarded country called Great Britain (what's so great about driving on the wrong side of the road, amirite?) does RHD. The rest of Europe (and thus The Netherlands) uses LHD.

It's not, I've seen the car myself (my car is the black one in the back, behind the frontside of the white one).

Anyways, someone else bought it, so end of story.

Mojo,GL finding another nx over there.
Just a final comment on this car and NX bodykits.
I am not a fan of them, but you guys obviously are so heres my .02
That NX looks like someone welded a different car on from behind the doors.
I noticed alot of European NX bodykitted cars look this way.
If you remove the door trims, and smooth all of it out like the kit, then it would flow alot better in my opinion.
