We're gonna drop all of it at once. Much easier than trying to bench press that tranny.

Lol bench press the tranny? You doing it with one hand?

I'm well aware it's easier to do them together, but the way it was worded seemed like you were doing otherwise.

They were, I talked them out of dropping the tranny first.

Well on the car the ve came out of, he is going to sell the shell. And it is in amazing condition so just dropping tranny and pulling motor out we reduced chances of screwing anything up lol. But my car already has some dings so we gonna slap the ve in any way it goes. Not too worried about it smacking the car or anything lol

I'm not real sure how you're doing it, but it's really easy to drop them together.

I see why it took you so long, you took it out the top. It's ALOT easier to drop it out the bottom, TOGETHER.

yeah we thought about it but doin it on an incline we were already having problems with the engine lift trying to roll down the driveway. wasnt sure if we could pull the motor out on a dolly without it falling off. on a downside today, pretty sure i busted my clutch. still goes into gear but makes a grinding noise and doesnt drive. had a spec stage 1 in there. i would think that wouldve been able to handle the torque from the VE. Gonna rip her apart thursday to see whether its the clutch or pressure plate. either way, prolly gonna upgrade to at least a stage 2. probably go to a stage 3 though. better to have overkill then underkill.

Skip over a spec stage 2. I had one and it was all good and well till I used the nitrous. It was a dry 75 shot, but the clutch wouldn't hold it at all.
