Thread: Going 17"!!! need advise

Keo, I'd keep what you have over almost any other wheel. What brakes are you doing that they won't clear? Maybe some spacers are in your future, or maybe pick up some wheels of similar design to your current ones that will clear the brakes. I know the wheels you mentioned are free, but you couldn't pay me to run them over what you have now.

^My daily has 17's and I don't think it looks dumb. I get compliments all the time when she is cleaned up.



^You don't have to drive with 500WHP everyday.......I'll just set the boost lower for daily driving. I probably want drive the car but 2 or 3 times a week anyway.

I declined the offer and I'm taking a Nismo LSD instead.

I know someone asked what brakes I was going to run, I was planning to run some 12" Brembo's 4 pot. but I decided not too, the LSD is more important and since I might drag here and there more than I autocross. I need smaller wheels i/e 15" SER wheels.

I already have the LSD coming, lol so I can't back out of that.

as for the wheels, I'm sticking with the B14's for now. i'll change it next year.

Best 15" wheel around, and they clear Willwood brakes.

my problem is that I'm looking into to much of the cosmetic stuff and forgetting about the build itself. I need to concentrate more on the internals workings of my car and less of the looks, that was the plan and it's going to be that way.

Which width and offset did you get on the front and back? Did you need to roll the fenders at all?

I might get these in nickel.
