1. His first and last name
2. His Phone number ( he never gave a FL number )
3. His address. ( he did not want to meet at his house )
4. Complete printed add from ebay before they erase it
5. Get as much info as posible before he disappears.
I have all that information but did you notice the interior was different than any other NX you have seen? I thought all NXs came with the same type of interior? The gray buckets this thing had a darker weave type material looks similar but very different? Man truthfully there is not much I can do with it. You live and learn and I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR ON EBAY EVER IN MY LIFETIME.
Again like I said if it was huge difference, I would try and do something about it but the car is not in a total trashed condition. Some new tires and a little TLC and it is a pretty nice car. A small claim judgment against this clown would be about a useful as an ice cube to an Eskimo. The insurance company that provides eBAY's buyer protection only works on cars that are under 10 years old. Of course this guy knew that before he did what he did. I am sure he is well versed in doing what he did with this car. He has everything in his wife's name for a reason. I got this too late and did not see you all post on this car before I bought it or I would not have.
Believe me guys, I believe in Karma and this guy will have to answer some day for his business dealings and I am sure it will be for a lot larger amount than this little red NX. I should have known something was up when the auction went for 4450 because if it was all he said then it should have gone somewhere in the 5-6 grand range. At this point, I am just going to run around in it and get the usage out of it. I looked at the engine and transmission and they are solid plus it still is a NISSAN.
Am I 100 percent happy, no because the car is not what he said it was. Overall though for an 18 year old car it is in good but not great condition. I should have waited till a 100,000+ mile example came up on auto trader since I would have saved 1500 dollars or so.
Miko can you tell me where on the transmission does the ODO cable connect. Does it read off the speed sensor on the transmission like them all or does it use a cable? thanks
