Lastly how do I know there is a 3-4 inch gash on the driverside door panel. It sure does not show it in any of his ebay pics. So how would i know its there.

So when whom ever gets the car tell me the door panel does not have that gash.

Sounds like a guy who got laidoff, is frustrated with life, and is trying to screw someone over. So he can make half of his unemployment money quick.

in the car too deep -- it is a done deal. I will let you all know if it is as bad as Miko claims and I appreciate the phone call from Miko. If it is not as advertised he sure did go through a lot of trouble of making it something it is not--- oh well at least I did not pay like 5-6 grand like some would have cause that is what I thought it would sell for.

This just got good again.
woohoo,glad I posted this now.
There are alot of eggheads here.I am glad I didnt have any money and wate my time with it,because would have went straight there when I saw the Ebay listing to check it out myself too.
I would NEVER buy a car off ebay without seeing it myself or someone really trusted checking it out for me.

As I am sure you have already figured out, Miko is dead nuts honest to the core, and knows as much or more about these cars as anyone on the planet. Those are facts, plain and simple.

If I was in Florida, I'd be real happy to go with you. I'd pay for the gas just to tag-along. In case you needed my assistance with anything troubling.

Exactly what I was thinking.

I hope that douchebag scammer gets into some serious neck-deep legal sh*t over this situation.

Same here. Like a long-term forum member with good mechanical chops and an eye for detail. Inspecting every inch of the car and hunting for any hint of bullsh*t, crappy work, rust or hidden damage repair.

Otherwise....no damn way. Too many horror stories, including this current debacle right now.

geez, the 'winner' of the auction seems to be taking this all rather well all things considered.

If it was me, I'd probably never want to deal with ebay again

The only "low mileage" car I ever got excited about was Billy's here in TN..because him and his dad personally found it warehoused inside Nissan's training facility. Doesn't get more legit than that.

Other "low mileage" finds, I get the opposite of excited. Mainly because if you can find a rust-free B13, the rest of the car was built with extreme high quality. It doesn't take much work at all to get a B13 back to a really nice OEM condition. I can make almost any car with 80k miles feel factory new, for not that much money.

You can't do that with a lot of cars.
