He looks like a car scammer looks at his e-bay account his name is "onefastshelby" and all his things he has feedback are private and look at what else he has for sale.

I actually considered bidding $10k for it on and just blowing it off but I didn't want the 'strike' against me for non paying bidder (never had that happen before and don't want to get kicked off ebay) so I didn't go that route...

^^^Yeah somebody would have to make a whatever account, and just fake bid. I"m not sure what it takes to make an ebay account these days. When I signed up years ago it was pretty easy.

*laughes at Miko's comment* - so you're telling me our stock shift knobs had the numbers on them? I've owned 6, none of which had numbers and just assumed they didnt ha ha ha!

I've been saying it for years...if it has under 80k miles it is most likely a scam.

I think that's a good rule to live by, and let someone else risk getting screwed.

I don't care who's old lady drove it or whether or not it was their "2nd home car we never drove."

Low mileage is over-rated.

You might need to laugh at yourself.

My 92 NX2000 new from the factory had the shift pattern with numbers imprinted into the leather.

My 94 SER has the same thing.

and

The 93 NX2000 I bought with 50,000 miles had this and at 104,000 miles still has it but it is starting to wear away.

As he stated ! My 94 Se-R also had numbers, but they tend to wear off..

Although 'super low mileage' examples can and do exist, they are indeed rare and as clearly stated here, there are obvious signs of 'scam or not' to investigate.

I'm surprised there wasn't a photo of the pedals (gas/clutch/brake) because that is also normally a tell-tale sign of actual vs. scam mileage!

It really is feasible though because I'm actually an example of just that type of scenario. I have a 2002 Boxster S that I drive down to Phoenix 2 years ago and left it titled and plated in Illinois. That car has a whopping 14k miles on it and I drive it a few hundred miles every year the 2x a year I am down there (enough to barely go through 1 tank of gas and then refill it) Eventually I'll end up selling that car I'm sure BUT I'll be able to prove mileage a little easier due to condition and more frequent reports (every 2 years the mileage gets reported along with a smog test and a carfax will show that I've been smogging it in AZ instead of IL)
