I think many of us have had the 'drive to be disappointed' experience.
Just last year I drove 4 hours to see a car that was nothing like described, barely drove straight, sounded like straight cut gears, leaked at front and rear main seal plus about 3 other places (yet seller insisted no leaks anywhere) and I could go on and on...
BUT my record was a 10 hour drive one way for a car that was so bad it shook like it was going to fall apart when you hit 40mph (turns out it went into a ditch and caused all sorts of damage to all sorts of things the seller never bothered to mention) so I drove 10 hours back home empty handed on that one too!
Buyer beware indeed!!!!
