Now here is the part I dont get.

You said you had a 93 NX2000, that you bought new.

So how did you not know that 93 NX2000 did not come with leather steering wheels. I mean you said you had one, so you must have known they dont come with leather steering wheels but yet in the last post above you say you never knew NX2000s came with rubber steering wheels.


So I am just asking again, did you really own a 93 NX2000?

I owned 92 NX2000 and 93 NX2000 and I can tell you the diffrences between the 2. I have also bought and sold a good bit of these NX2000s also

that will really very on how the car was driven during its time and whether or not you rinse it off when you drive it. It takes very very little salt to start corrosion and once it starts there usually is no stopping it unless you treat the metal or you do something else. I once got some road salt on my 03 Yamaha R6 and the stuff corroded pretty good.

Hey take a look at my 240s engine bay there is some hard metal corrosion around the condenser and also lots of rock chips and insect debris -- this just happens when you are freeways a lot.




I think this owner if he had been in this car 100,000 plus miles then it would show a lot more interior wear than it does. Listen I am not trying to get into a pissing contest with you. You looked at the car -- to you it was a 3000 dollar car to me it is a 4450 car. Is the car worth 1450 more than you were willing to give. I will have to make that decision on my own. I guess it is because we'll I bought it.

My memory could be a little fuzzy because hell that was 17 years ago. Yes I know Nissan uses rubber and leather steering wheels. Did the same thing on the SE-Rs and 240sxs. My s14 96 240 has the leather wheel. I thought my 93 did as well but I could be mistaken. I could have my buddy call you that lives down there and he could tell you all about it. It was my very first car and my dad co signed on it with me. I should have never gotten rid of it but by now it would have 300 thousand miles and be beat all to hell. I put a lot of miles on cars and trucks.

I want to ask one question.

You wanted to see my withdrawal of the $6,000 on that day. So I am asking why? Did you think I was full of shit? Maybe you think I could not afford the car? So what was it.

At the end of the day I hope the car does you well. I was only mad because a man made me drive 5 hours round trip and wait in a parking lot for 2 hours. He also told me a bunch of lies about his car and I called him out right there while looking at the car and he could not just tell me whats up. Then he tell you he never seen me or met me.

I did not know, was not sure. If I would have seen it posted here before I bought it I would not have. I told you about that you also told me that you thought I should go through with it because I was very deep money wise into it already. I should have done more checking but my buddy put it on a lift. Examined the rear bumper very well and told me the rivets and screws holding it in did not have a mark on them. I mean condensers will corrode and if it is that big of a deal, I will get one either new from courtesy or from a forum in better shape. Install it myself and have the a/c recharged. Then again, I do not care how the condenser on this car looks as long as it cools the refrigerant and does it job. You are a lot more anal than me when it comes to these things which is why you did not buy the car. It does not have to be perfect for me.

By the way the white NX2000 with 104,788 sees 90 miles round trip Monday to Friday on the turnpike from Miami To FTL. ( Highway Miles ) It was bought with 50,000 miles about 3 years ago. It was not driven for a year and I put a VVL with N1 cams and it makes 203 WHP. So in the last 2 year we drive the crap out of it and love it thats why it has the miles it has.

Miko, you do not have to justify it to me. My 240sx was an engine swap done when my 240sx had 125 thousand miles. It was at around 260hp for around 18 months up till around 140-150 ish thousand miles. It now carries 400hp and has been there for 18+ months and now has 175,000 miles on it. I drive my cars a lot and will have a truck soon so hopefully I will not be driving the Nissans much but I just got upset at this thread trashing this car well because I am the new owner. It was immaturity I guess that compelled me to join because I would not have otherwise and probably would have been happy with it as is.
