is the stuff cracked or is it really bad to need replacing? If it is a spot or like an 1 inch or less. I can get some stuff called Bond and Seal -- Wurth puts it out and it is super supreme stuff that will resist pretty much anything but it could not do the whole stripe it would be for spot or tears of 1 inch or less.

you might try and get this done. I would be game while my stripping is not bad it is a little hard from being up North then all the way down south. I used something called Rubber care and it brought some of it back but it is still hard and brittle in spots. Age will do that to rubber

yeah mine is cracking and breaking all the way down. just not in one spot. so i would prolly need a new strip if they are available. someone out there has to be able to make em i would think.

you know they look like one piece and out of curiosity I called Nissan to see if they have any NX t tops here and they do not. That would only leave some one who could tear it down and rebuild it or find some used ones. the only problem with used ones is that they may not be any better than what you had.

No support for us NX guys at all.

yeah u would think somewhere nissan would still have the molds or the info or somethin about it in a file cabinet. i have thought about hitting up pull a part and finding a junk pair of t tops, taking them apart, and just kinda experimenting with different types of weather stripping to see if i can find something that might work.

I took a quick look at the tops and the weather striping is caulk sealed to the top basically making them unserviceable unless Nissan would make the strips -- that sucks all the other t top Nissans are serviceable except for the NX.

There has to be a quality aftermarket stripping to replace that which is on the glass

Anyone tried calling a glass window/windshield place? They use all kinds of different seals on new windshields.
