If you go through with this, I can see it being of use with LIUSPEEDs HID Projector Kit. Its a little more expensive than anything on EBay but would be a lot less work for HID Projectors in the NX housing.

You could always just go with the VW Golf projectors and buy HIDs. Either way would be about the same effort and price, depends which ever you would like most.

I'm totally interested if you can keep the pricing down like the $50 you said. Thats an amazing deal.

The real thing us nx users need are some better tail lights. Man do they suck.

Tail lights are part of the nx package. =) lol You won't find much of a choice on any of our cars. The point of these headlights is more for a better light pattern which helps with a lot more than cosmetic appeal. What are the 100nx tails like? Most options fo us Nissan guys are other oem.

Excatly the same. However they can be had in clear and red instead of just red and orange.

I wish they would be available in white/clear indeed. I spray paintend my orange to red. Is legal overhere, not a single question asked at inspection. Just don't spray the reflector and red part or the white part.

I bet that would workout fine too in America, since red blinkers are common overthere.

You can paint your lights solid black in America as long as you dont cover your reflector if its in your tail light.

Update here are a some more pics (Sorry this took long my personal life has been having a meltdown) I went with some PNP HIDs. There are some smaller than pin head bubbles in lens. They hard to see and don't effect the beam pattern, but I don't want there to be any confusion. The base of lens are not perfectly symmetrical but this doesn't really effect anything once they are installed.

I have driven a few thousand miles with this installed with no real problems. The only thing that I really ran into was a few spots that didn't get sealed up all the way with silicone. So there was some water in the housing. I let the housing dry up and sealed the holes and no more water since.

If someone wants to be a guinea pig and give a second opinion for a discount send me a pm. I want make sure everyone is going to be good with these.

I didn't like how the VW lights are put in, I wanted to use the stock housing and adjust-ability. But if the LIUSPEED kit has cut-offs they would be a great option!

I dont like it either, but it Was the only option and honestly could still be cheaper then this...
The LIUSPEED kit is pretty nice, its basically a projector housing made to go in place of the stock bulb. You have to remove the lens anyway in order to do so, being the case it would be best to go with the clear lens so it wont affect the light pattern from the projector. I BELIEVE you can replace the bulb without removing the projector again, so once its installed its like any other HID.

There currently isnt a group buy going on for the projector kit. If these come out well you could probably set up a group buy with LIUSPEED for a NX Kit, as it seems you could get ten people (including myself) from this thread alone.
