LOL you got some researching to do my man! First off the GTi-R top mount probably weighs about (im being generous) 15-20lbs. So It really wouldnt make a difference where it was placed on the car as far as balance goes.
Also there are a few NX's around that have there fogs and a front mount. It just makes running piping harder. As for you saying that if you run a top mount on your NX you can run a bigger intercooler...where? Good luck even trying to fit a GTi-R intercooler in there! And even if you did, it would be heat soaked at the first redlight you hit lol.
With my front mount I can drive my car hard as SHEET, get out of the car and touch my hotside piping and itll be very warm to hot, then I can go touch my coldside piping and itll either be at least cool to the touch or if its REALLY cold outside the coldside pipe will be cold as ****. Try that with a top mount and youll probably get burned!
Top mounts are only good for if you want a sleeper look, dont feel like paying the cash for a front mount setup, or you just wanna stay at stock boost or something.
