G20T seats in NX rails are actually damn easy also. I just did mine today.

Same concept as putting SE-R seats on NX rails. Except on the bottom seat pans you have to literaly take the cushion off the seat pan and transfer it over to the NX/SE-R seat pan. Takes about 20extra minutes a seat if you have some needle nose pliers but its nothing serious at all. Just gotta take off and then rehook most of the C clips.

Also Im glad that you met Ian! You seem to have that same "energy" for NX's that Ian has you just need some more info thrown at you and Ian is the NX info guy for most stuff!

You can do that, but then you lose the extra metal support in the bottom bolsters of the G20 pans. That extra 2 inches of metal does a lot for you in the twisties.

Many pieces of my mail ended up in the back seat foot well. There's always a downside. The upside is that the headrest is where it should be on us bigger dudes....plus the adjustable lumbar...come on, man.

Heres my reply about the gap from the SR20 forum

Not really. I have my seats on NX rails and the gap is about a 1/4th of an ". Also NONE of the G20 seats "drop in". The mounting points on the bottom seat pans is different so you have to take the whole seats off the G20 pan and put it on the NX pan. Also the bolts for the back seat of the seat are different then the NX bolts also. The G20 uses smaller bolts so if your getting some seats make SURE you take that bolts for the seat back also or else your gonne be making a trip to the bolt store. The bottom seats also have a legnth of fabric that you use to cover the gap and it also keeps things from falling through the seats. Alot of people dont use them so they have this horrible looking gap when you really look at it. But even then its not noticeable unless you look. WIth the fabric in place you dont notice it at all.

Also alot of people say that these seats suck and make you slide around. I think it really depends on your body style and how old and used your seats are and also how theyve been conditioned(leather). This is the case for SE-R seats also. Ive sat in SE-R seats where the side bolsters were so worn from somebody "bigger" sitting in them that they didnt support you anymore. Then on the other hand MY SE-R seats get compliments all the time because they hold you in so well. Its all about how old the seats are. Im also about 5'11 and 180lbs so me sitting in one of these seats is different then somebody 6'1 250lbs sitting in the seats. Also one more thing to keep in mind. Swap your passenger side and driver side seat backs if your seats are worn. Ever sat in your drivers side seat then sat in your passenger seat? Theres a BIG difference in support on some peoples seats! Last thing...conditioning your leather seats isnt going to do anything but make them more slippery. So just clean them off with some water on the parts your body makes contacgt with and condition everything else.

Eggman- i know its your oppinion. But have you ever sat in a pair if g20t seats? NX seats are like the worse seats Ive ever sat in. They make your back and butt hurt on long trips and they dont support you in turns at all. I have Keo seats lol and honestly they support me the same if not MORE then my B13 SE-R seats. But maybe ill get tired of them somehow or something bt I doubt it.

water + leather is a bad idea, it will dry out the leather. I use a beeswax-based leather conditioner called Aussie Leather Conditioner. It makes old, even cracked seats look like new, but takes a lot of elbow grease. It also won't make the leather slippery (as long as you take the time to run it into the leather completely).

There's also the G20 cloth option....I loved this setup when I had it.

Notice the adjustable lumbar. Also this is using the G20 pans, not the small bolstered B13 pans (big difference):
