funny thing is my arizona stock nx is slower than my current black nx which I removed all my go-fast goodies from. Go figure.

My VE'd SE-R is worlds faster than my stock NX, but I can see what I fell in love with. I think the main thing IS is we didn't know any better. Who modifies a car to make it faster, grip better, stop shorter and then decides, HEY, I'm gonna make it bone stock again? NO ONE. If you drive a modified one for a while, it'll make a stock feel WAY slow. But if you have a stock one, and NEVER drive a modified one, you won't really know what you are missing.

Weird thing is though my black stock nx would put busses behind my stock white nx - not sure why.

Some engines just run better than others, even though they are all stock.
I have owned quite a few stock nxs over the years and that seems to be the case.
Maybe even makes a difference how it was broken in or how it was driven.

yeah my old DE was def a freak motor. It would keep up with a t25 on a roll for quite a long time till boost kicks into over drive. then it was all over. My DE wasnt stock but i ran way to good for what it did have

How was the m3? Was it a manual? I love my VE egg but recently have been looking at e36s for ****s and giggles. they seem to be pretty cheap even with decent mileage.

I loved it, but I wouldn't give up my B13 for one.. I would just have one as a second car..

but I think I would rather have an E38 740i sport as a second car.. the M3 is too similar to the B13 in that it has a small back seat and only 2 doors..

the 740i would be more of a long road trip car... i take them quite often and the no cruise control, small front seat (for my fat ass) wears on me after 3 hours or so...

Interesting. Ive driven a 740i as well, I felt like I was piloting a really comfy starship or something.
