Manual tranny fluid Q
I looked in to the FSM and it doesn't tell me how much fluid I need for the tranny.

I rather not buy too much of it, first, Redline MT-90 is 19-20 euro per liter overhere and second, what's left I would keep till it's safe to throw away..

After searching I came with a not so reliable answer of 3.5 liters (0.93 gallon)

Is this correct? It's a manual transaxle.

sr20de for our b13 tranny (same as nx2000) takes 3.5 quarts (not 3.5 liters) but if you buy 4 bottles (4 1 liter bottles) you will be fine IMHO

quarts are smaller than litres, and yah, 4 bot's will do it.

And FYI 3.5 quarts = 3.31224 liters.

Ok, so thats clear now.

I've written this down in the FSM @ page MA-59.

May I ask what tranny is in the Nx2000? the manual names 5 going by numbers like RN4F30A and I know I *could* look that up myself.

There is also no tranny in the list requiring 3.3 liters. It also tells how much 'lmp pt' is equivalent, however, I can't read '4-5/8'

I wonder where the difference(s) are comming from.
