The kit comes with self tapping screws so you'll have to mount it to the existing pillar. A-B-C easy as 1-2-3...

The kit comes with stainless steel self tappers and they provide some black plastic covers for the screw heads. It's ugly as hell, I just bought some black self tappers and called it a day
