Tein SS on an NX2000 Questions
Whats up guys. I need opinions from all or any of you that have the Tein SS setup in your eggs. Im depressed and going to start throwing money into the cars suspension to make myself feel better

How harsh are the Tein SS on the street in the NX2K? I already have the SS' setup on my B14 and its perfect for daily driving at 4 up front and 4 rear. I know the spring rates on the B13 setup is much higher than the B14s. Would you recommend me to switch over to softer spring rates or keep the spring rates at 448 F / 336 R.

Ill be daily driving the car, take it to the autocross and also road course events. Im definitely going with the Teins + Pillowball mounts due to ease of adjustability.

Just need to hear some of your first hand experience daily driving the car and also at what settings did you have them. This way I can decide on whether to change the springs to a softer rate or not.

Sorry for any misspelling. Its 4am and ive been up all day.

I don't think any of us are rockin Tein SS's...you would be the first sir. I've entertained the idea for my build, but never threw down the funds.

Thats nuts. Theres so many people here with beautiful NXs. I guess alot of people on here focus mainly on the engine performance. Oh well. Ill try to do some more research and decide what spring rate to go for.

-I'm not much of a TEIN fan, most NX guys just do the basic Hyperco or RM with AGX. there's a few with Progress coilovers, I loved my Progress Coilover and i will choose them over the TEIN anytime.

I rode in a B13 Se-R with the progress coilovers. I liked them except for the lack of dampening adjustment. I do alot of autoX and long road trips. Adjustability is key for me. Especially considering how different the roads are state to state.

And you will never see me in anything with an AGX strut or shock. Used to have Hypercos/Agxs on my 1st B14 before I got GC/AGX and before my Teins. I hated the Hypercos/AGXs. GC/AGX were pretty good.

Yes so did I. I would love them if my egg is going to be just a track car. I want dampening adjustability because its going to be my new daily when Im done with it. If the progress had that I wouldnt even be asking lol.

Bump one last time. Im ordering them on my birthday (Wednesday)

The spring rates that they have for the B13 originally are

Front - 448
Rear - 336

Im going to be using the spring rate that I have on my Tein SS on my 200sx.

Front - 336
Rear - 280
