cv shaft help.. engine here tomorrow..
i have a 93 nx2000 and i am doing an engine swap cause it was cheaper than fixing the maybe problem.. anyway i thought that the whole subframe would drop out so we didn't undo the cv shafts and well the whole subframe didn't drop out and now the engine is on the ground with one cv shaft still attached (pass side).

so i need help on how to get it apart cause i have tried prying on it and all sorts of stuff and still can't get it to come out.. Also what size is the nut that holds the cv shaft in? thanks to all who help.

here are a couple of reference pics..

oh and the engine is going to be here tomorrow so i need some advice quick like.. thanks again..

why not remove that nut? get a breaker bar, 32 mm socket, and a big ass pipe.

put the breaker bar and socket on the nut, then slide the pipe over the breaker bar. get someone to stand on the brakes and go to town. then get a hammer and beat the hell out of the axel untill it pops out.

or get a sawzall........either or.

that axle wont need to be beaten out once the akle is removed from the hub it will just come right out. like said before the whole control arm asembly will have to come out. #$%^ that. Done the right way I can swap an axle in 30 mins easy. GL boys I posted on the other site too 1 1/4" deepwell socket
