Thread: Door handle assembly

Anybody have a pic. or can you give me a good description of how the 2 metal rods connect to the lock and handle inside the door. I took mine apart over a year ago and I cant remember how they were.

Someone with a door panel off take a pic for me i'll paypal you 1 dollar.

Picture through the top of the door where the window would be, shows top rod:

Picture through side of door:

Shows bottom rod. Kind of hard to see but you can see the small lever with a hole on top. The bottom rod connects to a lower connection below that hole.

Can you get a pic of where the plastic tabs connect to the handle. Theres 2 rods I dont know how they go.

Don't worry about the paypal money...I am parting out my NX so it was quite easy to take the pictures. Although the first one appears to be missing (though it could be my work filter). I will take a picture of the lock/handle tonight if possible

I dont know if any of these will help but here are some for ya. I took a few before we completely gutted my doors for paint. i was figuring i would forget how everything went back together by the time we put it back together.





If they dont i may have some more in my photobucket, feel free to look around. If you need some more i could take some, i havent put my door pannels back in yet.

I need one of the door handle but I am talking about the outside door handle from the inside of the car.
