holy ****... this has to save so much weight. I remember carrying that damn nx hatch on my head while doing my battery relocation and rear strut bar install because I was waiting on my new hatch struts... That stock hatch weighs a TON!

i had my back window bricked a few years back...and i know that like 60-70% of the weight is the window itself,cuz ui drove it for 2 days until i could find a rear window and it was soooo light w out the window....i always thought about putting a lexan or plexiglass window in back and sides....thats would be like 200 lbs gone!!!!

dirty mexican....

The weight saving is close to 30 lbs give or take
and the window is polycarbonate not Lexan..Lexan is just a brand name...same stuff....

The lightest one we have produced was right around 22lbs and the heaviest was 28. The factory unit is about 55 lbs

Opening and holding your hatch wont get any easier LOL

Anyway, I have them up for sale now:

There are only 7 available, so I highly suggest if you want one you pony up because i will not make any more. Too much time and trouble, but worth it to have one for myself
