Power strearing!!!
Omg just got home from work tonight looking to get a nice parking spot (where nobody will bump me) then start the car wheel felt mad stiff,Then i was smelling power strearing fluid got out look under the car fluid on the floor :madop the hood hoping its not my high presure line (just replaced a few months ago) i spent a guapp "alot of money" at the dealer for it now i hope its not the pump,Thats where most of the fluid was wet,im of for work for the rest of the weekend so i got time to figure it out,Back to the shop :o good exuse to put in my prothane mount kit.Everybody ask me why im spending all this money on these cars?? I say love them esp my NX

Is the pump seized can you rotate the pulley wheel? Did you bleed the system when you put in the new line? I would skip the Prothanes until next week and sort the PS stuff this one.

It wouldn't be the pump, it sounds like the line snapped or sprung a leak. If the pump were to seize there wouldn't be any leaking power steering fluid, you'd just have a snapped belt.

I found the culprit last night it was a rubber hose on the low presure return line,I just loosen the nut slip it back on properley and put new fluid in it,When i changed the high presure line i put all LUCAS power steering repair fluid. It was too thick,On cold mornings its like you got frozen fluid.
