Finished welding the steering rack brackets today.

Sprayed the entire sub frame with 3M Rubberized Undercoating.

I also cleaned up more of the engine bay so I can spray it tomorrow. Will probably spray the bottom half silver that way its easier to see if any fluids are leaking.

One of my brothers gave me a box of these Camel Grinding Wheels for on a grinder. They work awesome and cut down the time of cleaning the engine bay by a lot compared to using a sander.

Taped everything up to get ready for painting.

I always use Prep All for wiping down the surface before painting. Make sure you use materials for wiping that won't leave behind a lot of particles. After wiping everything down you should also use a tack cloth to make sure the surface is free of any particles left behind.

Primer

I painted it white since I only had one can of silver laying around and 4 cans of white. Clear coat is also already applied in below picture.

Bolted my suspension back on but I ended up busted a bolt. Tomorrow I will have to drill it out and weld a new one in place.

Control arms and hubs are bolted back on.

Now since my car was lowered it ended up correcting itself making the tie rods fit perfect. The control arm is raised up to ride height in picture.

My turning ability is a bit off from one way to the next so I will have to correct that tomorrow.

That may be the same bolt kurt and i broke then had to weld another one in its place. Are you gonna keep the bay white or did you just put that on there for now?

It was a different bolt then the one you guys broke. I'm actually thinking about getting the entire engine bay sprayed white once I have the money to get the entire car resprayed red.

Oh ok, that would be nice for locating leaks and such, but not fun to clean.

Finished spraying the bare metal I had in the engine bay. Its a darker red then what was originally painted in the engine bay.

Welded in a new bolt today for my kyb strut.

I also took care of my steering issue so it turns the same amount both ways.
