i bought the avenir Swaps going great sow far iam looking for a maf though and a down pipe if u know of one.

I knw I'm kinda late on this thread, but god damn! This is so sexy, I knw you have this done already, I've seen videos of it on Youtube. I was wondering if the back axles bolt right on to the NX's chasis? & what are the titles of the videos with the car running cause I can't find any like that? I have an NX2K aswell & I was gonna get rid of it cause I didn't have patients or money to start working on it, but I decided to keep him & I haven't regreded it ever since. I'm still working on it & now all I need is to repaint it Platnium Grey Mettallic, with Purple Rims & a polished on the deep dish rims.

im in the work right now and i didnt finish any because of this thread. i might be fired out from work tomorrow. lol

now, here is my question. I saw a GTi-R front cut here in the local surplus shop and its just 1,800$, the cut is from the hood down to the shifter, evrything in the cut is there, ad22vf, tein coilovers, hood, engine, tranny, axle, dashboard. everything is intact. now the problem is running a AWD might not be possible, it is hard to find here the following:

-Gti-r drive shaft
-Gtir complete rear sub frame
-Gti-r gas tank

and i am just considering running in 2WD. is that possible?
my car is a LHD 4 door B13 with GA16DE in it.

you can run a fwd SR 20 trans and make it FWD.

axle and gas tank are hard to come but.

how's the dash on that car? i may need some piece from it.

I used a complete rear subframe from a gti-r so no the rear axles will not bolt right onto the NX chassis but the front axles do.

Depending on where you are located you can get parts from Canada which may be the cheapest way to get what you need. A fuel cell might be a cheaper route for a gas tank unless you can get your hands on a gti-r one. However most shipping companies are a bit picky when it comes to shipping used gas tanks. Also i'm sure you can get a 240 rear subframe to work if you shorten it to the correct wheel base. I believe the rear diff ratio of a 240 is ruffly .3 off from the gti-r rear diff but its been awhile since I looked into that.

If your considering running it 2wd with the awd tranny then I wouldn't recommend it. Yes, it is possible but you can't really beat on it with out the possibility of damaging the tranny. If you just accelerated normal then it wouldn't be so bad but I still wouldn't run it that way for a long time. You can always just slap on the fwd tranny and run it that way until you collect rest of the parts needed.

ouch that means i have to buy fwd lsd tranny with axle, unless the gtir axle can be use to fwd lsd tranny. it sucks cause i have to spend another 690usd. Yaiks

The awd & fwd axles are different so you won't be able to swap them between the two.

ouch... How about p11 axle to sr20/16 fwd?

Heres what I know....Its gone to scrapheap.
That car was sold to a guy in VA who drove it from WA.Then he sold it due to rust and other chassis issues( I heard there was some handling issues that were never fully straightened out)
A guy with a B14 go the drivetrain and hes working on AWD 200sx
