wow! that sounds really good, and that is really light for a all wheel drive car. aren't evo's and sti's like 3500+? this is a sick car!!!

ya, 08 sti's are around 3400 & a Evo 8 is around 3300 for curb weight

a friend of mine built a 4G63 powered AWD 93 Colt. weighed around 2550lbs. 35R powered and fast!

a friend of his put a solid rear axle in a Colt. maybe throw a ford 9" in the NX in the future?

That would make for a strong car at the drag strip but I dont think that is what the op is going for with his project. I like it as it is, considering it is all nissan still(with some custom work from the owner) and built for his own personal tast. Any way you look at it, this is still a nice project. Kinda like his own life size artwork.
