Thread: How to make NX fogs brighter

I have done this to my NX fogs to enhance my night driving visabilaty its a pretty straight foward process grab a hold of a phillips head screw driver remove the glass lense there is a clasp "cap" covering the the H3 bulb get a nice narrow mouth pliers and remove the cap replace the lense and your done you will love this mod cost nothing and takes less than an hour to complete

That cap is there to prevent the light output from traveling upwards. Your fog light is supposed to shine down! Ever used your high beams in fog or snow? worse right? You must feel awesome to completely ruin them. Other drivers on the road must also love it

eh, it's to be expected that people flame, he's being honest, even if it is a bit harsh. The best thing to do now, is do the aim test, and make sure they're not blinding oncoming traffic, which they probably are, and try to adjust them.. that's probably the hard part.

Since ive did the Mod ive only had one person flash there lights at me on the highway they dont show up in the air they actualy show staight out,I had no choice on this mod cause i drive long distance esp in Delaware theres alot of dark roads when i hit the fogs they realy light up the road (dont doubt it if you havent tried it) the stock lights on my NX suck and i dont have $500 laying around to buy me a brand new set,I paid $330 for my fogs from the dealler (yep if its not new i dont want it esp lights) hate it or love it i sleep better at nights.thanx for the love guy's
