Thank you, I will check into that today. I am also going to check compression today and make sure i don't have a headgasket blown between two cylinders.
The only one I checked was #1 when I got he car because that was the one not firing and it was around 155 160. When it is running I can pull each plug wire and get an equal change in motor though so that "should' be ok

I just went through exactly the same problems when doing a headgasket on the better half's Saab 99 Turbo. That car is as old as i am!

I had the black spark plugs when i was trying to get it running on 4 cylinders if i remember right. I accidentally snapped one of the plastic fuel lines that feeds the injectors and had to melt the end fitting back in to the line. Turns out the melted plastic blocked the end fitting and before i took it apart again to put a red hot paper clip through the middle of the end fitting to clear the plastic, i think that's when i had the black spark plug ceramics.

I also had the problem of whenever i went near the accelerator pedal just trying to rev it on the driveway, the engine threatened to cut out unless i pushed it very very gently. This all pointed to a leak on the inlet side and sure enough i'd forgotten to tighten one of the bolts down where the Throttle Body bolted up to the inlet manifold.

It'd make sense for you to whip the fuel rail back off for all of the 3 or 4 bolts it takes (just watch out for those plastic spacers dropping down the back of the engine as i'm sure you've already discovered), and first of all prime the fuel pump by turning the ignition key to ignition live and check for leakage, then crank the engine over to ensure all injectors are still firing.
You said you were pulling spark plug wires and listening for engine tone change - you can also do the same by unplugging each injector wiring clip, so you could try this first.

If all that checks out then i'd go hunting for a vacuum leak on the intake side.

I will have to do that, right now I am getting ready to run out the door to go to Oreilly's in Columbus to pick up my parts (that is where my friend works but in Oklahoma) He got them at his cost and all I have to do is pick them up. New Dizzy cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and coil........................ It's worth it for me to make the trip because I am getting the parts for FREE and I want to get this thing going...................

Thank you all so much for all your help and input. New Dizzy cap, rotor, wires (NGK), plugs (NGK Plat), Coil. Runs like a champ now......

One concern left though, I have the lifter tick going on but the car sat for a year, should I run a thinner oil for a bit to pump those lifters back up (they are hydraulic right) also I have a slight rattle like a loose bolt rattle I am kinda thinking the TC tensioner might need replaced any thoughts on that considering the car has 208K and I don't know if it has ever been changed..........

Good news! What oil are you running now? I wouldn't worry about the tick too much. If it is the same tick that I'm thinking all three of my SR motors have had it with no ill effects. They are hydraulic I think they need to be bled manually if you choose to do so.
