Thread: Ugh Stolen head unit.

Fuel filter was replaced around 187k. Nice plans, I always wished it had cruise control.

Viper security is what I suggest,,, ,, it's what I have... only bad thing is nothing will really stop a thief if you have something that he wants.. BUT VIPER has a insurance program that would have replaced anything stolen.. keep in mind that the lower end Viper alarms DON'T have that program... ONLY the VIPER does...... go here and look around for maybe a future theft idea,,, Viper - Viper Products: Security and Remote Start Systems, Car Alarms, Accessories, Bypass Modules, Replacement Remotes and Transmitters ...


remember the lower end lines like BOA, PYTHON,, are made by DEI as well but these products where put out for retail because theres alot of guys out there that won't cough up the extra 50 bucks to get the best...

mine is the Viper 350HV 1-Way Security System retails for around $239 installed and comes with a $2,500 Guaranteed Protection Plan (GPP)..

Thanks for the info guys. I am going to look into having the Viper installed. It already has an alarm but it had been disabled and I didn't figure out how to fix it fast enough. Its working now.

no prob Benito ,, I'm a dealer for Viper and if you need some help, I'll do the best on my end.... I recommend atleast going with the same unit that I have,, it will come with a REAL life time warranty for the original owner and it's nationwide..

Is there a provision to pop the trunk? A Maxima trunk release unit would be sweet on that hatch.

not sure about that because the Nx's have a cable to pop the hatch,,


VERY interesting question I never thought about that for mine,, I'll do some checking to see if we can add a module to do that..
