I am thinking some time off wil do me good , my pockets are not shallow , but they are not as deep as they were at one time , I am supposed to take a month off in JAN-FEB to go home and up to Alaska to visit family and friends , I could try to put the car on hold intill then , it just seems as though no matter how much money I pour into it it still needs serveral thousand more , and time as of this last year has been the hardest thing to get , mayby next year will be diferant , the money pit thing is my own fault , if I can not get nothing done on it I just buy more parts and that way I feel like I am making some kinda head way .....Oh well I just need a little time away from the project for a little while

Yeah and your 3 times is 3 times more than i have driven mine in over a year. And i wont be driving it until spring, or summer. How are we gonna have a good nx/nissan car show somwhere in our area without one of the cleanest nx's?

LOL your going to do like me and post your stuff for sale and then realize that youve come to far to just give up now! It took me about a 6 month period of getting parts together for my car. But that was only cause I went hard and got all the stuff at one time. Once I put everything it after about selling it all a few times I realized how much it was all worth it! Now I have a Turbo thats fast as **** and can still be daily driven if needed. This VE NX on the other hand is something im still up in the air about. Im not sure if I really want to spend the money its going to take to get it where I want it. But ive got everything to do it already pretty much so its a no brainer!

But thats the cost of this hobby. Ive learned to just take my time and pace myself on these projects and when its all said and done youll thank your self on that warm sunny day when the tops are out and the motors sounding lovely going through the revs! These cars are just way to fun not to own at least one with some powa!

My NX came from John, it was up for 1 year, then he passed away and I took it over, worked for a year. Then I deployed, came back and worked on it again. Then I took it over and brought it to Kentucky with me. Been working it on a year and a half here. Car hasn't been run since 2004. I sure hope it is done by spring! But, i wont' give up on it. I will finish it.

I was just real frustrated when I started adding up how mush I have spent on it ...it is a rather large # , but it is really my own falt and there are worse things to spend money on , I am just going to take a break ....and then hit it hard with intensions of getting it running by the time the snow is gone ...

^How many projects you have going on bro? I have one main project, but some how I've been trying to get my daily right while doing so. I know how you feel with the #'s adding up I've spent 3 times my "car parts" budget for this month because of some hard to time parts I came across. I'm just taking my time on my main project. It want be done for at least a year and a half.

I am have my chevell which is done ,it is a big block 4spd car , it is in storage in WA. I am hoping to make the run out there to picl up another truck project ( 73 chev shortbox 4wd) and I want to lift the Titan when the warrenty runs out , it should be in the next year or so , I need to get my GSXR 1000 back together , I still have the GSXR 600 to ride , and I have been looking at a rental property so I can put some money towards making money instead of all this spending ....
