Thread: Whats going on with the NX's around here?

I know Its been done many times but this is whats goin on with my nx -
I did remove the torque converter after the pic in a rush no lights

LOL I wouldve taken all that extra **** off before it even touched the car. The cut radiator hose ect...
Also please at least throw some paper towel into the inj holes before you get some **** in there and it messes up your head, pistons, or turbo.

Don't tell me Cody's wife has a new S2k!

Well, looks like I’m going to be officially out of the NX game. I have this huge knot in my stomach now, because as of today my 3rd and possibly last NX has been sold. I've had an NX since I was 15 and been collecting parts to build what I though would be the sickest NX every since then. For the past 2years I’ve been real hesitant on getting it done, just collecting/selling more parts and trying to decide the direction I wanted to go with in the car, my life and my future.

Now more than ever I realize that I have to let it go. I'm planning on moving forward with my business idea and need all the funding I can get. I know I would have built an insane NX, but I have to think beyond that right now.

I know a lot of people would be glad to see me go so you all can buy my parts. Lol I hope you guys are still interested in what I have left

got the new Nissan bumper on, but i didn't get it in the garage quick enough. the snow beat me

anyway i gotta get it in the garage and get the motor and tranny out and get cleaning on the engine bay....i got a full winters worth of stuff to get started on between painting, getting other little cosmetic stuff done and getting the motor put together...

So what direction you going in? Hey at least we still have some NX enthusiasim rolling in MN!!!! Mine is all set to get broke in.....and then on the dyno next spring to push for the 600whp mark!!!!!!!! and no traction.........

Are you gonna get that thing to the track this summer? what are you running for a clutch setup?
The motor is in the machine shop right now getting freshened up for the 16ve pistons and all that jazz.
Cory has the ve stuff locked down around here so we are gonna try and make some good power with an all motor DE.
As far as cosmetics I need to get a hold of a non cracked oem front lip(ive got 2 that are slightly cracked) and to keep her garaged and rust free.
So basically an OEM refresh this winter

Yeah it will be heading to the track.... clutch is a SPEC drag twin disc, with some tweaks. It will be fun to have another clean NX around!
we all need to go rolling next summer
I need to take down some big v-8 turbo mustangs I know of.....and oh so funny when they get to see the roof spoiler pulling away like a bat outa hell from them.....
