ive been collecting parts for the past year to get it running. striped the studs for the timing chain tensioner. so i figured why not throw a det in it.

yup, more or less new....got of of this forum a few months back, vis envader hood. now i just need to paint the car and get some decent wheels.

JDM DE swap complete.. Kinda feel like im starting all over..
Finding things to be restrapped, retighted or readjusted everyday since the swap..
All of my sensors were swapped but not all was reset. Will finish those this week.
AC reconnections, vacuum, and refill also needs to be done.

But, the car is running strong and getting better each day..

That VE looks BRAND NEW inside!! Dagg... Wish I had one that looked like that!
Where did you find such a clean motor?

Possibly hittin the dyno this weekend. Then she'll be hibernating til spring. Plan on pulling the motor through winter.

Yeah i feel like that to. All the little stuff I had to buy for my other NX over the years I have to buy all over again. Luckily with all motor you dont have to buy all the stuff you do for the Turbo motors. I bought the motor fromt the same place I bought my DET. Its a spot called Japan Direct in Raleigh. They actually go to Japan themselves and hand pick the motors. For there front clips they actually drive the car first! I like them because I can actually go up there and pick out the motor I want from the selection that they have instead of just ordering one sight unseen! Plus they are right down the street from me so It took me all of 15 minutes to get the motor home (ovcoarse this is AFTER I found out that they have free delivery around the local area:mad
