Where does the NX vent?
My NX in is storage now. When I go and see it every once in a while I can smell a little of fuel in the garage. Now, I know its the car because when you take it out it goes away. I have no fuel leaks either. I think its just venting fuel.

So where is the vent hose? Does the NX have such a thing? Or is it a leak I cant find?

Oh, and i have under a quarter of fuel in it.

Thanks fella's!

i agree, check for broken or disconnected gas/vaccum lines.. my nx has been in my garage for over half a year with just under a quarter tank and i dont smell any gas.

Open and then reclose your gas cap..
I had the same problem with a car with 3/4 tank of gas.
The gas would expand with heat and build lots of pressure in the tank.
Solution was to either remove some the gas or to open the gas cap to release the pressure.

How long is it going in storage for?

You should store it with a full tank of gas and some "stabilizer", or else the fuel can break down and gum up parts.

Full Tank of Gas is not a good idea; 1/4 tank is better.. Less gas = less pressure but does create tank condensation.
Full tanks for storage works best on boats where venting is provided.

When you take it out of storage, Use dry-gas to absorb any condensation accumulation

Adding Fuel Stabilizer is great advice but also add a gallon of fuel to the tank afterwards to mix it inside the tank well.

It also a good idea to also mix a few ounces of the Stabilizer with a gallon of gas in a small bucket, disconnect the fuel rail input gas line & put it in the bucket. Keeping the bucket of fuel from heat & sparks, Run the car for 5 minutes or so, to get the stabilizer into the engine (injectors, fuel rail, etc). This will help protect from gumming inside those parts. Pour the leftover mixture from the bucket into the tank.

Yep, store it with 1/4 tank and then fill up right when you take it out of storage.
