Karuza Nx2000
Well its a long story, Nick (karuza) had traveled all the way from sacramento to los angeles to buy a nx2000 from juan. He had bought the Nx and was on his way home. The trip went wrong and the nx had a rod knock. So it came back to los angeles and the following day i was contacted to do a swap. heres the pics

Pulled the motor out. With no Engine Hoist!!! talk about ghetto

Powered by nick ha.

motor went in after 30 mins of trying to get it in, Just when Juan leaves it gets in.

and shes alive

Took about 2 days to swap from fri around 1pm to saturday 9pm started up.

So if any one in socal wants a swap done let me know.

Thanks Nick for letting me swap it in and thanks Juan for the business.

Hope you enjoy the new car nick.

by the way this is the 20th swap I've done.

nice, ive done probably that many if not more, and ive done one swap without using an engine hoist also, full swap thats putting the motor back in as well, haha, now that was fun, my quickest out and in was about 8 hours semi-taking my time, ive taken a couple days to do others just because i was feeling lazy and it was hot as hell out side so you really only get about 4 hours per day that its cool enough to really do anything.

sure if you want to pay me to do it, i do good work, i did both my buddies nx turbo install and it runs like a champ, stock maf in blowthrough setup ftw, it actually is very responsive, now he just needs a tranny and some prothanes, haha

im doing my buddies, de/ve 2.2L 12:1 build as well, gonna start that probably sometime next week or the following, whenever we get the block back from the machine shop from them matching the sleeved block to the pistons for optimal clearances. Then the assembly begins, That will have lots of pics.
