Need help with snapped transmission mount bolts
So I been having these clunking sounds, and bouncing movements on my car,
and what do you know? It's the bolts that hold the driver side transmission
mount that snapped, and left some of themselves inside the thread holes of the
transmission bellhousing! This messed up the front mount bushing, which needs
to be changed, and the stabilizer connecting rod on the passenger side.
I was wondering if there will be anyone who has the experience and the
tools(optional since I'm planning of buying them) to extract the screw thread
and re-thread the holes using heli-coil.
I need to do this before school starts and before I do the alignment on the car.
I live in Boston, in the town of Hyde Park, Massachusetts. I will post pics later.
Or any get together plans?
