Thread: NY SLEEP ACT against exhuasts, $1000 fines

Hey guys from NY area..
not sure whos aware of this stupid new SLEEP ACT law they passed in NY Senate but still time to fight it, hopefully Cuomo will veto since hes a car guy. I faxed him & will be calling tomorrow.
They want to make exhaust upgrades illegal in NY, limit would be 60 decibels for cars, 95 for bikes.. $1000 fines.. Insane
I dont know how this could hold up in court when a lot of sports cars come from the factory at 80-100 decibels.

Take a stand!

They want you to buy. TESLA because our goverment is all in on the company with your Tax dollars duh. Good luck with that one. Know who it took in the past to fight these things ? Politicians against politicians. I can tell you one thing. I live in mass I support this bill I have guys on dirt bikes and motor scooters flying up and down my street every 10 minutes running uber eats orders. It's getting rediculous to the point where I can't sleep. It's unfortunate but we need this to get some rest. It only takes a small batch to ruin it for EVERYONE ELSE.
